IHC First to receive contract with Blue Cross Blue Shield

We are happy to announce that we have our own contract with BCBS. We are one of the first nurse practitioner owned offices in the Big Bend area to receive an in-network contract. This in-network contract includes Elizabeth Markovich, Dr. Ira Price, and Leah Gilbert-Henderson. Hypnosis and Acupuncture may be covered as an in-network service for certain conditions with this contract. With our new contractual agreement with Blue Cross Blue Shield, there may be a slight change in your copay amount. Please check with the receptionist at your next visit. Many thanks to Dr. John Ness, who has facilitated our payments from BCBS for years. Dr. Ness will continue to serve as our Medical Director and Consulting Physician.

Current evidence supports the concept that all of these diseases have many common characteristics and that these illnesses are part of a spectrum or continuum of disorders.
